Your new role

  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch outbound shipments, including truckloads, LTL, and international freight, ensuringpliance with all shipping regulations and customer requirements.
  • Utilize and maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and related software to track shipments, generate shipping documentation, and manage inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and other transportation issues, escalatingplex matters to management when necessary.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required customs documentation accurately and on time for international shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including dispatch logs, delivery confirmations, freight invoices, and related documentation.
  • Partner with warehouse teams to ensure products are picked, packed, and loaded safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Adhere to and promote FLSmidth Inc.'s safety policies and procedures across all shipping and transportation operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing shipping efficiency, service levels, and cost effectiveness.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2-4 years’ experience in shipping, dispatch, or logistics coordination role, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, including Incoterms and customs requirements.
  • Excellentmunication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
