Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a leading mining operation in Northern Ontario to recruit a Forklift Operator for a contract opportunity based in Sudbury, Ontario.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in an industrial environment and is looking to gain exposure within the mining sector. The successful candidate will join a safety-focused operation that values reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Your New Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in supporting daily site operations by safely transporting materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the operation. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and related material handling equipment while ensuring all work ispleted in accordance withpany policies and site safety standards.The position requires working in an active mining environment where physical labour is involved. Daily responsibilities include loading and unloading deliveries, moving materials to designated locations, conducting equipment inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational teams as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to follow established procedures while contributing to a productive and safe workplace.This is a day-shift position with opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements.
