Our client is a well-established and respected professional services firm with a strong reputation in the market. They are currently looking to add an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Administrator to their growing finance team. This individual will play a key role in managing outstanding receivables, supporting cash flow objectives, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely collection of business and customer accounts.
Your new role
As the Accounts Receivable & Collections Administrator, you will take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and oversee the collections process from start to finish. You will monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, reconcile account discrepancies, and work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment issues. You will prepare AR reports, maintain accurate records of collection activities, assist with account escalations, and support month-end processes as required. This role requires a proactive approach, strongmunication skills, and the ability to balance relationship management with effective collections practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a related finance function
- Experience managing aging receivables and following up on outstanding accounts
- Strongmunication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working within a corporate or professional services environment such as legal, accounting, consulting, banking, architecture, or similar organizations
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
