Your new role

As a Training Specialist, you will support workforce capability and organizational performance by designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs across the operation. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs and materials.
• Facilitate onboarding, technical training, workshops, and development initiatives for employees and leaders.
• Coordinate training schedules, records,pliance requirements, and learning activities.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders to continuously improve learning programs and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and facilitating training programs for diverse employee groups.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS),puter-based training platforms, and e-learning tools.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and knowledge transfer practices.
• Excellentmunication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
• Experience within mining, industrial, manufacturing, or unionized environments is considered a strong asset.
