The successful candidate will be a trusted professional with a strong background in internal audit, demonstrating integrity, objectivity, and sound judgment. This role is pivotal in establishing, leading, and sustaining the independent internal audit function, providing objective assurance and advisory services to enhance the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. The Vice President, Internal Audit will be responsible for audit planning and delivery, assurance and risk coverage, and will serve as a key business partner, championing a culture of risk awareness and maintaining strong relationships with the Board, executive leadership, and management. Applicants for the Vice President, Internal Audit position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the audit function, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and/or a professional accounting designation (CPA) plus a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation is required. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be a clear communicator, and have a proven track record of fostering collaboration and leading a high-performing team. Experience in a complex and regulated environment, as well as a strong understanding of global internal audit standards and professional practices, is essential.
