Bilingual Recruiter (English/French)
We are recruiting for an opportunity in the sector of insurance and financial services for our client. This role offers the chance to support recruitment activities across multiple business areas, partner with hiring leaders, and contribute to talent acquisition initiatives in a collaborative hybrid work environment. You will play an important role in attracting, assessing, and hiring talent while supporting positive candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the recruitment process.
What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $30-35, based on experience.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• On-site attendance: 1 day per week, on Thursdays.
• Travel required: Less than 25%.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Act as a talent advisor by leveraging data, market intelligence, and industry insights to support hiring decisions.
• Use data, technology, and sourcing techniques to support hiring objectives.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including intake, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer support, and onboarding.
• Conduct hiring manager strategy meetings to clarify role requirements and recruitment plans.
• Screen resumes and conduct first-round candidate interviews.
• Schedule interviews, coordinate logistics, and manage recruitment administration activities.
• Prepare offer letters and ensure compliance documentation is completed and uploaded.
• Manage a requisition workload of approximately 20 to 25 roles once fully trained.
• Balance multiple recruitment priorities, stakeholders, and hiring timelines.
• Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines through proactive talent scouting and outreach.
• Support talent acquisition projects as required.
• Promote inclusive hiring practices and support positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
What you will need to succeed:
Required qualifications
• 2-3+ years of recruitment experience with demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring talent.
• Strong talent sourcing and talent scouting capabilities.
• Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Strong business acumen and a data-driven approach.
• Full fluency in English and French, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Workday or other applicant tracking systems.
• Experience in corporate recruitment or agency recruitment
• Knowledge of recruitment within the insurance or financial services environment.
