What you will be doing

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Utilise Python and SQL to manipulate and analyse large datasets efficiently.

Implement best practices for data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.

Optimise data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Work with a cloud platform to deploy and manage data infrastructure and services.

What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Python, SQL, and ETL processes.

Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience working with any cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficiency in deploying and managing data infrastructure on cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
