Heavy Duty Mechanic

Clean Harbors Corunna, Ontario is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Maintenance Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner. * Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments. * Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs. * Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. * Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs. * Complete repair orders. * Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles. * Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor. * Complete warranty information. * Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts. * Carry out housekeeping duties. * Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS * Licensed/Journeyman Truck and Coach Technician. * 3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. * Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset. * Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset. * Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software * Class 5 Driver's License required. 40-years of sustainability in action.
