The Role: Tool & Die MakerThis client is looking for someone who has 2 - 3 years of experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must have hands on direct experience with Stamping processes.The client is looking for a Licensed Tool & Die Maker with direct relevant experience with Stamping processes in the automotive sector. Assist the Engineering department with projects involving:

• Process improvement studies, development and implementation
• Cycle time reduction
• Change over time reduction
• Tooling downtime reduction
• Assists production in the recommendation of press automation.
• Assists in development and troubleshooting of die protection systems and sensoring program
• CAD Manipulation for part, tooling, process, equipment and plant layout
• Technical member of the Continuous Improvement and CAR teams

What You’ll Bring

• Manufacturing Engineering degree or Tool & Die Maker Diploma
• Self starter with project leader skills
• Previous metal manufacturing exposure a necessity
• Welding background/experience an asset
• Previous metal stampings experience an asset
• Computer literacy including CAD
