Job description

Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Solution Expert to help shape the future of In-Room Solutions within our Digital Buildings business. From sensors and thermostats to HMIs and zone controllers, In-Room Solutions are a fundamental part of the EcoStruxure Building Operation platform.
These technologies help create smarter, more connected, and more efficient buildings by enabling better visibility, control, and occupant experiences. As a Solution Expert, you will play a key role in the evolution of this product portfolio.
Working at the intersection of technology, market needs, and customer expectations, you will help transform real-world building challenges into innovative product capabilities.
Your expertise will contribute directly to shaping solutions used in buildings around the world. You will join a global Offer Management team with colleagues across North America and Europe and collaborate closely with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams.
Together, you will help define and deliver solutions that respond to the needs of a rapidly evolving market while supporting customers on their journey toward smarter and more sustainable buildings. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of a growing portfolio, work alongside passionate experts from across the organization, and contribute to technologies that are helping redefine the future of digital buildings. At Schneider Electric, we believe innovation is strengthened by diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute, grow, and make an impact. Contribute to offer development and portfolio strategy activities, while serving as a key point of contact for new feature requests. * Support relationships with key OEM partners and contribute to the development of customized solution opportunities within this specialized go-to-market channel.
Provide technical input, assess best-fit solutions, and support solution scoping activities. * Support field trials of new solutions through direct collaboration with customers and partners. * Contribute to offer rationalization activities for the In-Room Solutions portfolio. What you bring * 10+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry, supported by strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of the market. * Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated devices.
Experience commissioning or integrating BMS solutions is considered an asset. * Solid understanding of the mechanical equipment commonly used in building automation and control environments, including air handling units (AHUs), variable air volume systems (VAVs), fan coil units (FCUs), rooftop units (RTUs), heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment. * Knowledge of leading BMS platforms and software such as Niagara, EcoStruxure Building Operation, Metasys, or Desigo, combined with an understanding of the hardware that integrates with these systems, including DDC controllers, thermostats, and wired or wireless sensors.
Familiarity with actuators is an asset. * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience. * Experience in commercial-facing roles, including sales, sales support, or technical sales.
Exposure to presales activities such as system design is considered an asset. * Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical requirements, product capabilities, and value propositions effectively to a variety of audiences. * Comfortable operating in a role that combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and support for commercial activities. We recognize that skills and competencies can be developed through a variety of experiences, both professional and personal.
