Distribution Team Lead

Adecco is currently hiring a Distribution Team Lead for a full-time opportunity in Belleville, ON. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse or logistics professional with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Working closely with the Supervisor, you will help lead daily operations, coach team members, ensure service level agreements are met, and promote a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.

• Pay Rate: $62,000 to 64,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support warehouse associates across inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, and value-added services
  
• Execute daily operational priorities and work schedules
  
• Train, coach, and support team members to ensure productivity and accuracy
  
• Serve as a point of contact for staff in the absence of supervisory personnel
  
• Monitor workflow and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved
  
• Promote workplace health and safety standards and company procedures
  
• Support employee performance, engagement, and development
  
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational success
  
• Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment
  
• Previous team lead, lead hand, or supervisory experience
  
• Experience with SAP, WMS, MRP, or other warehouse management systems
  
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
  
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  
• Knowledge of distribution KPIs and warehouse performance metrics
  
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is considered an asset
  
• Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Business is considered an asset
  
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
