Analyste financier.ère senior

Vous contribuerez au succès de l'organisation en participant activement au processus de comptabilité, de rapports et à la production de rapports financiers. Vous soutiendrez également la haute direction avec diverses demandes et analyses. Une relocalisation à notre bureau de Dallas serait une possibilité.

Responsabilités spécifiques

· Coordonner et réviser les rapports financiers;

· Produire les états financiers mensuels et de fin d'exercice conformément aux rapports légaux et aux GAAP américains;

· Préparer les analyses financières et des rapports mensuels et trimestriels.

· Analyser et interpréter les données financières, y compris les différences entre le budget et les résultats réels;

· Veiller au processus de budgétisation, analyse et projections financières.

· Assurer la conformité de tous les rapports financiers, opérations et transactions selon les politiques internes, normes et contrôles réglementaires;

· Traiter les écritures de journal et préparez les rapprochements dans le cadre du processus de clôture mensuel de fin de période;

· Coordonner et préparer les dépôts des rapports financiers et autres informations requises par les agences de réglementation, la haute direction, les autorités fiscales et autres, pour les entreprises sous votre responsabilité;

· Préparer les dépôts statutaires trimestriels et annuels selon les exigences du NAIC (Livre bleu);

· Assister aux audits des états financiers intermédiaires et de fin d'exercice;

· Préparer et coordonner les déclarations de revenus des sociétés et de l'État;

· Accomplir d'autres tâches et projets spéciaux assignés par la direction.

Expérience/Formation

· Diplôme en comptabilité; Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience pertinente en comptabilité;

· Désignation CPA, un atout;

· Expérience en audit, un atout;

· Maîtrise des concepts, pratiques et procédures comptables généraux;

· Expérience en clôture complète de fin de période et en préparation d'états financiers;

· Compétent en Microsoft Excel; Compétences informatiques intermédiaires à avancées;

· Expérience dans l'industrie de l'assurance vie et/ou de la réassurance, un atout;

· Connaissance d'Oracle Financials, un atout;

· Maîtriser les programmes et logiciels de comptabilité.

Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting

You will contribute to the success of the organization by actively participating in the accounting, reporting process and production of financial reports. You will also support senior management with various requests and analysis. There is the possibility for a job relocation to our Dallas office.

Main areas of responsibility

· Coordinate and review financial reporting;

· Production of monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with statutory reporting and U.S. GAAP;

· Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analyses and reports;

· Analyze and interpret financial data, including variances between budget and actual results

· Budgeting process, analysis and financial projections;

· Ensure all financial reporting, operations, and transactions are compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards and controls;

· Process journal entries and prepare reconciliations as part of the monthly period end close process;

· Coordinate and prepare filings of financial reports and other information required by regulatory agencies, senior management, fiscal authorities and other, for the companies under your responsibility;

· Prepare quarterly and annual statutory filings as required by the NAIC (Blue Book);

· Assist with interim and year-end financial statement audits;

· Prepare and coordinate corporate and state income tax filings;

· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

· Accounting degree; minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience;

· CPA designation (an asset);

· Audit experience (an asset);

· Proficient with general accounting concepts, practices and procedures;

· Experience in full-cycle period-end close and financial statement preparation;

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel; intermediate to advanced computer skills;

· Experience in life insurance and/or reinsurance industry (an asset);

· Knowledge of Oracle Financials (an asset);

· Being proficient in accounting programs and software.
