Are you looking for an exciting HR opportunity within a dynamic food processing company in Laval? As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing daily HR operations, supporting business activities, and guiding teams. This 3-month temporary position—with a strong possibility of extension—is ideal for an HR professional looking to leverage their expertise in a multi-site, unionized environment.

Responsibilities
• Manage and update all employee files (hires, departures, promotions, contract terminations) in the HRIS and third-party platforms, while tracking employment eligibility.
• Support the end-to-end talent acquisition process by screening applications, conducting phone pre-screenings, and facilitating onboarding sessions for new employees.
• Answer day-to-day inquiries regarding HR policies, Quebec labor standards, and collective agreement administration, while escalating complex labor relations issues to HR Business Partners.
• Ensure legal and government compliance of HR records, including CNESST requirements, updating official documents (organizational charts, handbooks), and producing periodic HR reports.
• Provide ad hoc support to managers and branch teams on HRIS usage, HR data entry, and team meeting preparation.
• Embody the core values of partnership, performance, passion, and initiative on a daily basis.

Qualifications
• DEC (College Diploma) or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in an HR role, ideally in a unionized or multi-site environment.
• Fluent bilingualism (French and English), with expert-level English to interact daily outside Quebec.
• Solid understanding of Quebec labor standards and CNESST regulations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (experience with Dayforce is a strong asset).
