Position Overview

The Children, Youth & Social Services Cluster is seeking two Senior Full Stack Software Developers to design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade web applications and services.

The successful candidates will work across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), translating business and technical requirements into scalable solutions using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET Core, C#, Microsoft Azure, SQL, Git, and Azure DevOps.

The role requires strong hands-on full-stack development capabilities, including front-end development, backend/API development, database design, cloud deployment, application architecture, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into working, tested applications.
  
• Develop detailed technical specifications, write code, conduct unit testing, and support solution implementation.
  
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and modernize full-stack web applications.
  
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
  
• Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable application components.
  
• Design and implement application architectures, database solutions, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
  
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support application integration and business processes.
  
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful backend APIs.
  
• Work with Azure SQL Database and relational database technologies, including SQL and database design.
  
• Deploy and support applications using Microsoft Azure services.
  
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git.
  
• Work with source control, branching strategies, repositories, and release management.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, performance, and production support issues.
  
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  
• Support application deployment, migration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
  
• Provide technical architecture support, solution design recommendations, technical guidance, and effort estimates.
  
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Technical Leads, QA teams, project teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
  
• Work effectively within Agile delivery teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  
• Support backlog management, sprint planning, development tracking, and technical delivery through Azure DevOps.
  
• Contribute to development environment, cloud infrastructure, operational, and deployment requirements.
  
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, where applicable.
