Senior Market Intelligence Analyst

In this hybrid role, you will operate at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and commercial decision-making to drive vertical strategy, market intelligence, and profitable business growth across Canada. You will play a crucial role in analyzing trade flows, quantifying market opportunities, evaluating competitive positioning, and translating complex data into executive-ready narratives that guide go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
Lead vertical industry and international corridor analysis to identify, size, and prioritize key growth opportunities and emerging market trends.

Conduct comprehensive market sizing, share-of-wallet, and attainable share assessments to quantify growth potential and support strategic planning.

Analyze customer shipping patterns, macroeconomic forces, and trade flows to inform targeted growth and lane expansion strategies.

Partner with Sales, Pricing, and Revenue Management teams to evaluate conversion potential, competitive positioning, and service differentiation.

Monitor competitive intelligence and market dynamics to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for pricing and product strategies.

Lead revenue management projects independently, ensuring impactful strategic development and execution.

Design and deliver compelling dashboards, data visualizations, and executive-ready presentations to align cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in business analytics, strategic planning, market intelligence, or revenue management.

Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency using SQL (or similar programming languages) and advanced data visualization tools (such as Power BI) for quantitative analysis and reporting.

Analytical Capability: Proven track record in market research, competitive analysis, market sizing, forecasting, or financial modeling.

Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to translate complex data into clear executive recommendations.

Industry Context: Background in B2B services, logistics, transportation, or supply chain, alongside a solid understanding of the Canadian market landscape, is preferred.
