Requirements:
- We require an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
- We expect at least 3 years of IT help desk experience.
- We need experience administering Office 365.
- We look for familiarity with Jira Service Desk and Confluence, or comparable ticketing and knowledge base tools.
- We require support experience with Windows 11 and macOS.
- We value experience with Okta or similar identity and single sign-on platforms.
- We consider equivalent international education, training, and experience in place of Canadian work experience.
- We prefer a bachelors degree.
- We require the ability to reliably commute to Etobicoke, ON, or relocate before starting.
- We require the ability to work in person.
- We need the ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- We serve as the first point of contact for users needing help by phone or through our ticketing system.
- We monitor the ticket queue and quickly triage requests for front-line resolution or escalation.
- We perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic methods and targeted questions.
- We investigate user issues and determine the most effective solution based on the information provided.
- We train users on best practices for computer and application use.
- We document issues, requests, and resolution steps in ticket records.
- We follow up to make sure user requests are fully resolved.
- We onboard new employees by providing required equipment and guidance on system access and use.
- We administer end-user workstations and support daily user activities.
- We install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and other related devices and systems.
- We provide high-quality customer service.
- We identify, propose, and implement improvements for users and internal processes.
- We handle software and application installations and upgrades.
- We troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications and carry out resolutions.
- We set up and configure AV equipment, TVs, security cameras, and office and conference room hardware.
- We maintain confidentiality for information processed, stored, or accessed by end users on the network.
