Brandt Industries is currently seeking for Qualirty Engineer.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring product and process quality throughout Brandt’s internal and external suppliers. This role collects and analyzes quality data, performs audits, investigates non-conformances, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and drives product quality improvement.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Drive and improve internal and external product quality.
- Track & report KPIs including; supplier quality performance and defect rates; department defect rate, analysis, and improvement; product quality performance.
- Analyze quality data and develop quality improvement plans; lead and implement those quality improvement plans.
- Support internal and external non-conformances, NCR analysis, containment activities, corrective actions, and preventative actions.
- Conduct process, product, system, and supplier audits to verify compliance with Brandt requirements.
- Work directly with Brandt’s procurement team, Quality Assurance, and our Suppliers to proactively and permanently resolve quality problems and non-conformities.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain quality documentation, records, and reporting dashboards.
What We Look For
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- 10 years of manufacturing & supplier quality experience preferred.
- Experience in steel fabrication, machining, equipment, and vehicle assembly is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, procedures, & quality manuals and standards.
- Ability to create and distribute routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to think logically and critically to weigh pros and cons to make appropriate decisions

- Understand and utilize various methods of Root Cause Analysis
- Can understand and interpret Control Plans and Process Flow documentation.
- Superior understanding and utilization of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Fully understand & interpret GD&T
