Weekday Nanny Position – Full Split Shift or Morning/Afternoon Roles – NW Calgary We are looking for one or two warm, dependable and experienced nannies to provide weekday care for our 7-year-old daughter. We are flexible in how we structure the position and would be happy to hire either: Option 1: One nanny for the full weekday split shift Monday–Friday 6:00–9:00 a.m. 1:30–7:30 p.m. (12:00-7... p.m. on Fridays) Approximately 45 hours per week OR Option 2: Two separate nannies Morning nanny: Monday–Friday, 6:00–9:00 a.m. Afternoon/evening nanny: Monday–Friday, approximately 1:30–7:30 p.m. (12:00-7... p.m. on Fridays) Applicants are welcome to apply for either portion of the schedule or for the complete position. Location: NW Calgary, West Hillhurst Position: Live-out, long-term Compensation: Competitive and dependent on experience and schedule Our daughter is 7 years old and attends school full-time. She is affectionate, energetic and social, and we are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with school-aged children and would like to develop a close, long-term relationship with her. Morning responsibilities: Helping with her morning routine Preparing and supervising breakfast Helping her get dressed and ready for school Making sure her backpack, lunch and school items are ready Driving her to school Light tidying related to the morning routine Afternoon/evening responsibilities: School pickup Driving to after-school activities Preparing snacks and dinner Homework, reading and play Helping with bath and evening routine Encouraging age-appropriate independence Providing warm but consistent boundaries and structure Our ideal candidate is: Warm, affectionate and engaging Extremely reliable and punctual Organized and proactive Comfortable setting kind but consistent boundaries Confident driving in Calgary throughout the year Interested in a stable, long-term position A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are required. Qualified candidates must have their own vehicle with winter tires. A driving stipend or mileage reimbursement will be provided. Previous professional childcare experience and references are strongly preferred.
