Solution Architect – SAP, Procurement & Finance (SAP Architecture, Procure-to-Pay (P2P/S2P), Finance & Accounting)
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)
Job Summary:
The Global Functions Technology HR and CLAO (Procurement) team in partnership with the Finance team is working on a project to modernize their system. This role will be responsible for creating an end-to-end architecture solution. You will design and deliver complex solution architectures across multiple business and functional areas, leveraging advanced expertise and knowledge to ensure the successful implementation of complex and high impact initiatives. You will Lead the solution architecture project of significant complexity, applying advanced expertise and knowledge to deliver impactful results.
Job Description:
• Preferred someone with knowledge of SAP application and architecture.
• Requires some level of expertise in end-to-end linkage between Procurement and Finance.
• Leads the development and delivery of end-to-end technical solution architectures for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business strategies and technical roadmaps.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams, senior architects, and stakeholders to identify modernization opportunities, develop solution design patterns, and oversee the implementation of architecture decisions.
• Provides expert guidance on architectural frameworks, integration patterns, and emerging technologies, ensuring innovative and scalable solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Represents the organization as a technical leader in vendor partnerships, building relationships with third party partners and internal teams to accelerate decision making and resolve complex issues.
• Executes on solution architecture tasks or projects, requiring advanced problem solving, decision making and strategic thinking with some ambiguity.
• Drives decisions on complex issues to develop clear, actionable recommendations for management, ensuring alignment on processes, tools and services with impact across other areas.
• Leverages advanced and creative skills to resolve complex solution architecture related problems, fostering cross functional collaboration to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Leads and facilitates cross functional collaboration efforts, fostering strong internal relationships across the organization and external partnerships to achieve impactful business outcomes.

Support Modernization Detailed Job Description: • Design, develop, and maintain applications built on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) to support core payments processing. • Contribute to the development of payment flows supporting transaction processing. • Build and support integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems using enterprise integration patterns. • Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex, regulated environment. • Collaborate with architecture, QA, and operations teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance. • Support modernization initiatives and enhancements to existing payment hub capabilities. • Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
