Manage and support an enterprise-wide software deployment strategy using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).

Design, build, update, test, validate, and maintain application packages for reliable enterprise deployment.

Package COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed applications using AdminStudio, InstallShield, and/or PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSAppDeployToolkit).

Build silent MSI/MST installation packages for eventual deployment through Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Apply required application settings and configurations using industry-standard tools and low-level custom scripting.

Conduct enterprise application discovery with developers and business/requesting users to gather requirements, settings, configurations, and preferences.

Create high-volume, conflict-free, validated, advertised, rollback-enabled, just-in-time, error-free, and restorable packages certified for delivery through the configuration management environment.

Prepare, build, update, and maintain a clean, repeatable virtual machine base environment from which packaging builds are initiated.

Automate the packaging environment, including configuration of tools, required merge modules, and company-wide/global settings.

Develop scripts to automate packaging and deployment processes using PowerShell, VBScript, CScript, and/or WScript.

Provide package completion estimates along with regular activity, status, and progress reporting for electronic application delivery.

Manage the complete SCCM software deployment and application lifecycle, including software updates, service packs, emergency security patches, and preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot and resolve application packaging, installation, deployment, compatibility, and production issues, including remote or elusive symptoms spanning multiple environments.

Support ad-hoc business requests for application creation, packaging, deployment, and on-demand troubleshooting.

Recommend the best deployment approach while collaborating with the Change Advisory Board (CAB), User Engagement teams, business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams.

Follow established change management and release management processes, including planning and scheduling maintenance activities.

Identify and resolve problems within the production Microsoft environment and proactively recommend solutions or improvements to management.

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining established timelines, quality standards, and delivery commitments.

Work effectively as part of cross-functional project teams and help foster team commitment to tasks and deliverables.

5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment.
-
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and enterprise-wide software deployment.

Extensive experience with Windows Installer, MSI/MST packaging, silent installations, transforms, and application customization.
-
Hands-on experience with AdminStudio, InstallShield, and/or PSAppDeployToolkit.
-
Extensive scripting experience using PowerShell, VBScript, CScript, and/or WScript.
-
Strong understanding of the complete SCCM software deployment and application lifecycle.

Experience troubleshooting complex Microsoft Windows production environments and deployment issues.

Strong understanding of change management and release management processes.
