Deskside Services Technician

Duration: 6 month Contract

Must haves: A+ certification or equivalent, and a full class 5 drivers license (no GDL)

Location: This role is fully onsite in our Calgary, Alberta office.

As a Deskside Services Technician – with Insight, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, installing of peripherals, and instrumentation devices or hardware, as well as providing technical assistance and training to system users.

As a Deskside Services Technician – you will get to:

• Troubleshoot and triage the Enterprise or Desktop Systems in conjunction with Operations.
• Work with Citrix, Virtual Desktop, thin clients and provide advanced troubleshooting on Windows operating systems.
• Assemble, configure, and troubleshoot computers and peripherals at an advanced level
• Install operating systems and properly approved and licensed software

We are looking for a Deskside Services Technician – with:

• IT related Certificate or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
• 2-5 years troubleshooting related experience and/or IT customer service experience in an enterprise environment
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills
• Must possess A+ certification
