Role Details

  • Work Location – Brampton
  • Shift/Hours – Overnight shift, Monday through Friday (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
  • Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $54,000- $60,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • Initial Posting Close Date - September 4, 2026

About This Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Distribution Center Administrator is responsible for assisting different department managers in various daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisors in the overall management of employee records: payroll, absenteeism, holidays, workers’ compensation records, etc.
  • Prepare work schedules for unionized employees in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and by taking plant needs into account
  • Manage new employee onboarding (creation of the employee record, preparation for arrival, introduction to the company)
  • Manage visitor access to the factory and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
  • Allocate access rights to the different departments of the plant
  • Provide support in administrative tasks for plant meetings, such as booking meeting rooms and organizing catering
  • Receive and deliver mail
  • Create and disseminate presentations and other potentially confidential communications throughout the plant or among external stakeholders
  • Develop and update various performance or financial reports and present them to the various plant stakeholders
  • Perform all other related tasks

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, business support, or operations support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
