The Siroky Group Inc. (TSG) is a Canadian software development and consulting company specializing in technology solutions for the Out-of-Home advertising industry.
As we continue to modernize and expand our enterprise software platforms, TSG is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our product development team.
The successful candidate will initially work alongside a Senior UX/UI Designer on a significant enterprise modernization initiative involving campaign planning, inventory management, mapping, pricing, contracts, operational workflows and dashboards. Over time, the role will expand across TSG's broader suite of web and mobile applications.
This is not a marketing website or consumer application design role. Our applications support complex business processes and information-heavy workflows. We are looking for someone who is interested in understanding how people actually use software to do their jobs and finding ways to make those experiences simpler, clearer and more efficient.
The Role
Working closely with our Senior UX/UI Designer, Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, QA team and client subject-matter experts, you will help transform complex existing workflows into modern, intuitive web and mobile experiences.
Initially, you will work under the UX direction established for a major enterprise modernization project, taking ownership of increasingly significant functional areas as your knowledge of our products and industry grows.
As the role develops, you will become an important part of TSG's internal UX capability and will contribute to the continued modernization of products across our application suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in UX discovery sessions with business users, subject-matter experts and product stakeholders.
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business requirements, existing workflows and user needs.
- Translate defined requirements and workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes and detailed interface designs.
- Design application experiences involving data tables, forms, search, filtering, dashboards, mapping, inventory selection, workflows and approvals.
- Apply established UX standards, design patterns and reusable components consistently across applications.
- Contribute to the continued development and maintenance of TSG's design system and component library.
- Work closely with the Senior UX/UI Designer on complex workflows and broader UX decisions.
- Collaborate directly with developers to ensure designs are practical and implemented as intended.
- Prepare development-ready designs, specifications and supporting documentation.
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams, clients and business users.
- Incorporate feedback from users, Product Ownership, development and QA into design iterations.
- Review implemented functionality for consistency with approved designs and established UX standards.
- Support usability testing, UAT and ongoing product refinement.
- Consider accessibility, usability and responsive behaviour throughout the design process.
- Gradually assume greater ownership of UX/UI design across TSG's enterprise product suite.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional UX/UI, product design or application design experience.
- Experience designing enterprise, B2B, SaaS or other workflow-driven applications.
- A portfolio demonstrating application UX/UI work, including complex screens, workflows and information-heavy interfaces.
- Strong proficiency with Figma or comparable modern UX/UI design tools.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and detailed UI designs.
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Strong understanding of responsive web application design.
- Understanding of accessibility and modern usability principles.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers and QA teams.
- Ability to receive design direction and feedback while also contributing ideas and challenging assumptions when appropriate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity about how businesses operate and a willingness to learn complex business processes.
- Comfortable working iteratively within an Agile software development environment.
Experience with mapping/GIS applications, field-service applications, media planning, advertising technology, CRM, ERP, financial systems, dashboards or other complex operational platforms would be considered an asset.
Experience designing mobile or tablet applications is also considered an asset.
The Person We're Looking For
You are interested in more than making an application look good. You want to understand what the user is trying to accomplish and find a better way to help them accomplish it.
You are comfortable looking at a complicated existing application and asking questions before immediately redesigning it.
You enjoy taking information-heavy screens and complex workflows and finding ways to make them clearer, more intuitive and easier to navigate without removing functionality users genuinely require.
You enjoy collaborating with other people. You are comfortable working with experienced designers, business users, developers and Product Owners, and you see feedback as an important part of creating a better product.
Most importantly, you are looking for an opportunity to grow. You will initially work closely with an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer while taking ownership of increasingly significant areas of our applications. Over time, you will have the opportunity to become a key contributor to the UX direction and continued modernization of TSG's enterprise product suite.
How to Apply:
Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume. The application will assess your qualifications, personality traits and workplace preferences. It should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. After submitting, you'll receive an email inviting you to log in and view your assessment results.
We will review applications submitted via the online application, with priority given to those who have completed the assessment. We will not consider or accept applications sent directly via email or standard post.
We thank everyone for their interest. We will only contact individuals selected for the next step in our hiring process.
