Hiring Requirements:
The Sr. Manager, Finance – Supply Chain provides strategic financial leadership and oversight for supply chain and manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting, and decision support that drive operational performance, cost optimization, and long-term value creation.

The position leads financial planning, analysis, and governance across multiple sites located in Ontario and Western Canada, ensuring accurate financial reporting, disciplined cost management, and alignment with corporate financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and fiduciary oversight of supply chain and manufacturing spending, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial statements, operational metrics, and performance indicators. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and provide financial guidance to senior operations and supply chain leadership.
  • Act as a key finance business partner to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations leaders by delivering financial analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and ad hoc reporting to support effective decision-making. Aid in building financial acumen among business partners
  • Lead and oversee financial results related to operational activities, including inventory, cost of goods sold, WIP/BOM, and supply chain efficiencies, as well as general accounting activities (e.g., payroll, A/P, fixed assets), ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and internal controls.
  • Participate as a business partner to drive productivity, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain by identifying opportunities, developing business cases, tracking results, and measuring performance against established targets.
  • Develop, analyze, and present financial performance insights, trends, opportunities and risks to Supply Chain Leadership, Manufacturing Leadership, and Corporate Finance.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles for supply chain and manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational plans.
  • Oversee and support the monthly accounting close and post-close processes, including accruals, adjustments, variance analysis, and explanations of results versus prior year, budget, and forecast. Identify factors impacting performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide financial leadership for capital investment planning, including development and approval of capital project business cases, evaluation of financial returns, and post-implementation reviews. Ensure capital expenditures are monitored and fixed asset activity is accurately recorded.
  • Champion the development and governance of operational reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs that deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights at daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals, with a focus on leveraging digital transformation tools (Power BI, etc), freeing up time to focus on analytics
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strong business partnership, while focusing on personal growth and development objectives of team members
  • Ensure compliance with Company financial policies, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required to support supply chain, operational, and financial objectives.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing and/or supply chain environments.
  • Demonstrated success providing financial leadership and decision support to operations or supply chain organizations.
  • Extensive working knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain ERP systems; Oracle experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams across multiple locations, with a mix of in person and remote interactions.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills (written and verbal).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other financial and reporting tools.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, complex environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between manufacturing or supply chain locations as required.
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive personal and company information.

The annual salary range for applicants is: $111,000 - $166,250, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
