Are you looking for a long-term opportunity in manufacturing & logistics? Randstad is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for a temporary position starting ASAP and running through the end of 2026. Working with overhead door materials in a somewhat dusty environment, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our client's facility. Please note that English proficiency is required for this position to accurately read picking paperwork and ensure seamless communication regarding safety protocols.
Advantages
-$19/hour
-Monday to Friday daytime hours (8am-4:30pm)
-long term temporary role until the end of 2026, possible extension or permanent hire in 2027
-transit accessible location in Central Winnipeg
Responsibilities
-Read and follow order paperwork to accurately pick overhead door materials from designated areas.
-Safely stack, strap, and securely pack the picked materials onto skids for transport.
-Maintain a clean workspace while following established procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics setting.
Qualifications
-Physical ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
-A highly process-oriented approach combined with an unwavering safety mindset and team player attitude.
-Mandatory steel-toed shoes must be worn at all times to meet manufacturing & logistics safety standards.
