Our client is a well-established Lower Mainland-based General Contractor with over 40 years of success delivering Design-Build,mercial, Retail, and Industrial construction projects across Western Canada. Known for their collaborative, family-oriented culture andmitment to long-term employee development, they have built a strong reputation deliveringplex projects for repeat clients across multiple sectors.
With a growing pipeline of Retail and Industrial developments, particularly throughout the Okanagan, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys managing Design-Build projects and wants to be part of a stable, supportive organization with consistent growth plans.
The OpportunityReporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will oversee projects from pre-construction and successful tender through topletion and closeout. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Thepany specializes in Grocery Retail developments,mercial tenant improvements, tilt-up construction, and insulated metal panel warehouse facilities, with most projects ranging from $5M to $10M and larger projects reaching $25M in value.
Projects are located throughout the Okanagan, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Northern BC, Alberta, and Yukon.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Design-Build and negotiated projects from award throughpletion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs and proactively manage risks and change orders.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams during project planning.
• Support successful project delivery while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of Project Management experience withinmercial construction.
• Experience managing Design-Build projects valued at $10M+.
• Strong background in Retail,mercial, Industrial, Grocery Retail, Tilt-Up, or Warehouse construction.
• Construction Management Degree or Diploma preferred.
• Experience using Bluebeam and modern project management software.
• Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Estimator, or Project Manager within a General Contractor environment.
• Strongmunication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
• Experience on Design-Buildmercial projects will be highly valued
