Your new role
As Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate andpetitive estimates for medium-to-large industrial projects. You will review drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents, develop estimating strategies, assess trade contractor pricing, attend pre-tender meetings, and identify project risks and opportunities. You will also support bid submissions, prepare schedules, review critical path items, maintain pricing information, and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, internal teams, and trade partners. This role will suit someone who enjoys technical detail, high-volume estimating, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring strong estimating experience within an industrial construction environment, ideally with exposure to mechanical, piping, or pipefitting-related projects. You will be confident reviewing technical drawings and contract documents, working with union agreements, managing multiple priorities, and producing accurate estimates under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a similar role, strong blueprint reading skills, excellentmunication and negotiation abilities, and a highly organized, team-oriented approach. Post-secondary education in a related discipline or relevant trade certification would be considered an asset.
