Jr. Accountant

About the Opportunity

· Process and enter invoices, including PO and non-PO invoices, and resolve any discrepancies.

· Process vendor payments and respond to vendor inquiries.

· Review and investigate inventory variances.

· Reconcile accrued purchase liabilities and resolve discrepancies.

· Manage vendor onboarding, including account setup, payment terms, payment methods, and tax registration where applicable.

· Maintain complete and accurate supporting documentation for all AP and accounting activities.

· Review and audit employee expense reimbursement claims for business purpose, proper expense classification, and applicable input tax.

· Prepare and post journal entries.

· Reconcile various accounts, including intercompany, clearing, prepaid, and corporate credit card accounts.

· Collect, analyze, and report financial data as required.

· Prepare monthly KPI, critical financial, and quarterly statistical reports.

· Review sales tax and input tax credit calculations for accuracy.

· Identify and recommend process improvements and participate in their implementation.

· Manage incoming and outgoing accounting-related mail.

· Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

About You

· 2+ years of relevant juinor accounting experience

· Intermediate excel (vlookups, pivot tables)

Pay Range

$25 - $29 / hour
