You will act as an advisory partner to our clients, analyzing their current HR processes, simplifying the way they work, and designing sustainable target practices. You are at once a consultant, a facilitator, and a change agent able to challenge existing ways of doing things with diplomacy, and to translate complex organizational needs into simple, actionable processes.

This mandate also offers a rare growth path in the market: a concrete 36-month plan to deepen your technical configuration expertise and broaden your knowledge across several market-leading HRIS platforms, up to becoming a go-to subject-matter expert (SME). It's an opportunity to combine strategic advisory work with technology expertise inside an agile structure with closer client proximity and more chances to directly contribute to their transformation.

Your day-to-day impact

● Analyze and map current-state HR processes (current state → future state) and identify improvement opportunities

● Facilitate discovery and design workshops with client teams, translating business needs into clear process design

● Design and document target processes, policies, and procedures, grounded in best practices

● Support HRIS implementation and configuration across multiple modules (payroll, workforce management, talent, benefits, integrations)

● Develop executive recommendations and transformation roadmaps for your clients

● Deepen your technical configuration skills throughout the mandate, with INNOOVA's support, to become a subject-matter expert (SME) on one or more HRIS platforms

The profile we are looking for 75% advisor · 25% expert

What matters most (75%):

● Impeccable client communication the ability to simplify a concept and bridge need → mapping → configuration (explicitly identified by the hiring manager as THE deciding criterion)

● Active listening and the ability to ask the right questions to translate a client need into clear process design

● Demonstrated ability to facilitate discovery workshops and produce process maps (current state → future state)

● Ability to turn complex issues into pragmatic, executable recommendations

● Openness to developing technical configuration expertise over a 36-month horizon, with INNOOVA's support

What we also expect (25%):

● Broad knowledge of several market-leading HRIS platforms often gained on the client side, even without hands-on configuration experience

● Understanding of common HR processes (payroll, time, vacation, benefits) and how they fit together in a system

● Knowledge of continuous improvement, governance, and change management principles

● Certification on a recognized HRIS platform, an asset may be supported by INNOOVA

● PMP, PCP/CPM, or an equivalent project management certification, an asset

The profile we are looking for 60% advisor · 40% expert What matters most (60%) advisory & delivery leadership : - A natural mediator: you manage client expectations and internal team dynamics with equal skill, and you de-escalate without losing momentum. - High emotional intelligence: you read the room, adapt your communication style, and earn trust quickly with clients, consultants, and leadership alike. - Comfort with ambiguity: you thrive in fast-moving, unstructured environments where priorities shift, and you help create structure where there is none. - Demonstrated track record of delivering HRIS or IT projects end to end in an external consulting context managing multiple clients, cultures, and stakeholder environments simultaneously. - Strong communicator in French and English applied case by case based on client needs. What we also expect (40%) project delivery fundamentals - Solid command of project delivery lifecycle phases mobilization, planning, design, build, test, deploy, hypercare and the ability to keep a team moving through each one. - Experience managing project plans, schedules, and risk logs across concurrent mandates; enough functional context to ask smart questions and hold delivery teams accountable. - Comfort reading the technical landscape without needing to configure it you don't need to be an HRIS specialist, but you understand the environment your team operates in. - PMP/PMI certification an asset. - Workday Engagement Manager certification an asset; may be supported by INNOOVA for the right candidate. Our must-haves : - Have led HRIS, Finance or IT projects delivered end to end in an external client-facing consulting context. - Legal authorization to work in Canada. - Availability for occasional travel for client engagements. - Genuine flexibility and adaptability this is a high-growth environment where the pace is real.
