Warehouse Associate - Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client's distribution team. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to accuracy, productivity, and safety.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will support shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory management, and warehouse operations while ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

• Pay Rate: $ 23.00/hour
  
• Location: Milton, ON
  
• Shift: Mondays to Fridays | 6:30am - 2:30pm
  
• Job type: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Receiving

• Receive and process products using the company's warehouse management system.
  
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Stage received goods in designated replenishment areas.
  
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and records.
  

Shipping

• Process customer shipments using pack verification systems.
  
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy.
  
• Coordinate courier shipments and transportation requirements.
  
• Generate daily shipment reports, manifests, and related documentation.
  

Order Picking & Inventory Control

• Verify inventory quantities and product locations.
  
• Match customer sales orders using warehouse software systems.
  
• Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders.
  
• Perform inventory checks and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
  
• Support order fulfillment operations to meet daily productivity goals.
  

Warehouse Operations

• Safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling devices.
  
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving initiatives.
  
• Assist other departments and warehouse functions as required.
  
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  

Forklift Operations (Where Applicable)

• Operate warehouse equipment, including VNA/Swing Reach Trucks, when certified.
  
• Work safely at heights when performing elevated picking activities.
  
• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report any concerns.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Valid forklift certification.
  
• Experience operating:
  
  • VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Forklift
    
  • Swing Reach Truck
    
  • Other warehouse material handling equipment
    
• Fall arrest certification is considered an asset.
  
• Experience using warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or inventory software.

• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
