We are looking for an Experienced Construction Surveyor responsible for establishing and verifying survey control, performing construction layout, checking grades and elevations, supporting concrete pours, and ensuring all works are constructed in accordance with design drawings and project specifications. Provides accurate field measurements and survey data throughout all phases of construction projects.
Responsibilities:- Perform construction layout and stakeout for buildings, foundations, roads, utilities, and structural elements.
- Establish and maintain site control points and benchmarks.
- Verify grades, elevations, and coordinates prior to construction activities.
- Conduct survey checks before, during, and after concrete pours.
- Set out anchor bolts, column locations, foundation walls, and slab elevations.
- Perform as-built surveys and prepare survey reports.
- Verify structural locations against design drawings and specifications.
- Operate Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, robotic survey instruments, and digital levels.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors, and Quality team.
- Maintain accurate survey records and field notes.
- Support quality assurance and quality control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project tolerances and construction standards.
Typical Project Duties- Layout of building grid lines and foundations.
- Verification of excavation elevations.
- Pre-pour and post-pour concrete surveys.
- Anchor bolt and embedment layout.
- Structural steel control and verification.
- Utility and underground service layout.
- Final as-built surveys and project closeout documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of construction surveying experience.
- Experience on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or government construction projects.
- Proven experience performing:
- Building layout
- Foundation layout
- Concrete pour verification
- Structural steel layout
- Utility layout
- As-built surveys
- Experience working with engineering and construction drawings.
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related discipline preferred
- Professional survey training and field experience.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work on active construction sites and in varying weather conditions.
Security Clearance Requirement
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance for work on government, defence, military, or secure infrastructure projects.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is $80,000–$115,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
