Meat Cutter

What you’ll do:

• Receive, inspect, store, and prepare meat, fish, and seafood products according to quality and food safety standards.
• Cut, fillet, trim, package, price, and merchandise products for sale using proper tools and equipment.
• Maintain inventory, rotate stock using FIFO practices, and complete required logs and records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, provide product recommendations, and assist with special orders.
• Follow production plans to ensure displays are fully stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including equipment maintenance and temperature monitoring.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Team: You will work closely with department clerks, meat cutter and retail manager to ensure the needs of customers is met and the department is welcoming.

The Community: Riverton, MB is Located approximately 130 km north of Winnipeg in Manitoba's Interlake region, Riverton is a close-knit community of about 475 residents that serves a broader municipality of more than 3,300 people.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have 1 year of relevant meat-cutting experience.
• You have a Grade 12 education or equivalent
• You can lift up to 50lbs.
• You are committed to food safety, quality, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
• You are customer-focused, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
