About the Role:

• Immediate Opportunity!
• Location: Amherst, NS In-Person.
• Duration: 3 Months Contract with possibilities of extension
• Day Shifts - 9:00 AM- 5:00PM
• 20$/ hour
• Paid Weekly on Fridays

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Requires effective communication skills and strong customer service abilities to interact with multiple departments
• Requires strong organizational and time management skills
• Requires the candidate to be detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful. Able to work within groups and on their own
• Requires skills in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs clerical and administrative tasks involving data entry and emails as required
• Processes fully released purchase orders
• Monitor Vendor shipments and receipts to ensure material arrives within the prescribed parameters established; expedites customer orders when required
• Investigates pricing issues and errors on invoices
• Assists with the maintenance of Material and Vendor databases
• Investigates vendor incidents; provides resolutions to incidents and processes Vendor returns when required
• Preparing reports to support the purchasing function
• Enters Purchase Orders, Receipts and STOs for Contract Manufacturing services
• Enters order acknowledgements and follows up on scheduled deliveries
