Job description
Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Integration Operations Software Engineer to maintain and enhance integration platforms using Azure, BizTalk, .NET, APIs, Terraform, and Bicep
Join a public sector organization supporting enterprise integration platforms within a Microsoft ecosystem. This role focuses on operational support, platform enhancement, and production support for integration systems and APIs in an existing Azure, BizTalk, and .NET environment. The engagement supports critical integration services with an emphasis on platform security, performance, and availability.
Contract, Remote, Working Hours: EST
Must Haves
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering including 4+ years in Integration Platform Engineering Support
- 5+ years building integration technologies including APIs
- 5+ years building Azure integrations, Azure Functions, and using Azure DevOps
- 4+ years authoring enterprise-grade Terraform or Bicep modules
- Reliability Status clearance eligibility
Nice to Have
- Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, or API Management exposure
- AI usage within an integration operational support context
- Knowledge of C#, BizTalk, SOA, hybrid Azure, and on-premises integrations
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on tasks to maintain and enhance integration platforms
- Provide production and operational support for integration platforms
- Ensure security, performance, and availability of platforms and services
- Advise on optimal platform usage and contribute to platform enhancements
- Analyze complex technical support issues
- Resolve solution lifecycle management issues
