Job description
Job Title: Clerk 2 - Data Input ClerkLocation: Halifax, Nova Scotia (On‑site) Work Type: Contract Salary: $17.00 + 4% vacation pay (weekly pay)Vacancy: Existing vacancyThis Clerk 2 role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced public service environment, providing administrative support, and assisting clients with inquiries and application processes. The right person will be organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while supporting an important provincial program transition. What you'll do
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain documents, records, and reports.
  • Assist with daily office operations and workflow coordination.
  • Support inventory management and distribution of inter-office mail.
  • Handle inquiries and apply judgment when addressing exceptions to established procedures.
  • Provide guidance to staff and assist with office administration as needed.

What You’ll Bring
  • Strong administrative and customer service experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide professional support to the public and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
