Kyndryl Canada is looking for a Senior IT Security Design or Solutions Architect with extensive experience with Microsoft Identity Manager to support a large activity system for our Federal Government Client.
This opportunity is a full-time contract with 5 days per week onsite in Ottawa, for a minimum of one year.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, IT engineering, or cyber security
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent relevant work experience in the IT field;
- experience in developing solutions architecture
- IT security design or system design experience
- Demonstrated experience in the development and application of security policies and security technical standards
- Demonstrated experience with different architecture and design techniques (e.g., object oriented, top-down, structured analysis and component-based design) and tools
- Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of security solutions
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Identity Manager or Microsoft Identity and Access Manager* (previous implementation experience required
- Must hold a Top Secret level Federal Government issued Security clearance
- Must be available to work onsite in Ottawa 5 days / week for the duration of the contract
- Relevant certifications in IT security or Systems Architecture would be ideal
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all system architecture, design and hands-on implementation aspects to ensure that the solutions meet the objectives and align with the defined architectures of the client initiatives
- Assist the IAM Solutions Architects to complete the detailed design for the implementation of critical IAM components and services.
- Participate in the design and own the implementation of working proof-of-concept solutions together with assigned vendor resources where required.
- Build and fine tune logical and physical solution based on architectures and detailed design specifications in all required environments (lab, staging, production).
- Act as a senior technical leader and provide hands-on experience for all technical planning and integration activities.
- Play an active role in ensuring that the integration of services, data flow and infrastructure architectures are designed and implemented to meet evolving business / operational requirements and standards for reliability, scalability and availability.
- Participate in the validation of the use cases, functional and non-functional requirements when required.
- Perform technical analysis and provide feasibility estimates to plan next deployments and implementations.
