Description: Hi! I’m looking for a kind, patient, and reliable part-time nanny for my 3-year-old son in downtown Toronto. My son is a sweet and active toddler with autism who is currently non-verbal. He is generally easygoing and does not have significant behavioural or medical needs, but I’m looking for someone who understands autism and can support him with communication, play, routines, and emotional regulation. Experience with autistic or non-verbal children is strongly preferred. Experience or training in areas such as ECE, speech and language development, AAC, ABA, developmental services, psychology, or special-needs childcare would be a great asset. Responsibilities are primarily focused on spending quality time with him, playing and engaging in age-appropriate activities, preparing simple snacks/meals as needed, helping with his daily routine, and keeping him safe and comfortable. This is a part-time position of approximately 24 hours per month, with the possibility of additional hours when needed. I’m looking for someone who can ideally build a consistent, long-term relationship with him. Rate: $25-$28/hour depending on experience and qualifications. First Aid/CPR and references are preferred.
