DRIVER WANTED FOR AN OFFICE POSITION

YOUR MISSION

As a Recruiter specializing in our driver positions, you will be responsible for actively developing our Class 1 driver talent pool and managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.

More specifically, you will:

• Communicate with drivers interested in joining Transport Bourassa;

• Conduct telephone and in-person interviews;

• Assess candidates' experience and driving records;

• Present our employment opportunities and answer drivers' questions;

• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process;

• Organize and conduct road tests when required;

• Participate in job fairs and various recruitment activities;

• Collaborate with our operations teams to meet driver staffing needs;

• Perform other related duties as required.

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Good knowledge of the realities and challenges of the trucking profession;

• Comfortable contacting candidates and initiating conversations with them;

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and generate candidates' interest;

• Ability to assess candidates and ask the right questions;

• Experience recruiting Class 1 drivers or working in the transportation industry is a strong asset;

• Valid Class 1 FM driver's licence;

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;

• Autonomous, professional, and sound judgment;

• Excellent spoken and written French and English;

• Comfortable using basic computer tools such as email, Word, and Excel.

SCHEDULE AND WORK LOCATION

100% on-site position – no remote work available

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Terminal, QC, J3B 8G3
