Job description
Are you an experienced press operator looking to work with cutting-edge digital printing technology in a fast-growing manufacturing environment? Our client, a recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry, is seeking a Digital Press Operator to operate and maintain advanced HP Indigo digital presses. This position offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology, contribute directly to product quality and production efficiency, and grow within a collaborative organization committed to continuous improvement and employee development. This posting is for a current vacancy and is actively being recruited for. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used to support the candidate screening and selection process.

Les tâches

  • Set up and operate HP Indigo digital presses to ensure efficient production, maximum uptime, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Verify job specifications and production requirements before printing to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform color calibration and quality control checks to maintain exceptional print quality throughout production runs.
  • Monitor press performance and print output, making adjustments as needed to meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record production, material consumption, and waste data in the ERP system and required production documentation.
  • Coordinate with production, prepress, and finishing teams to ensure a smooth workflow and on-time order completion.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Exigences du poste

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating digital printing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with HP Indigo 200K and HP 25K presses is mandatory.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read measurements and work accurately with production specifications.
  • Computer proficiency and experience completing production documentation electronically.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and remain standing for extended periods.
