Job Description
*An Aerospace Quality Control (QC) Inspector makes sure parts and systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
*They inspect parts and complete work to ensure everything matches approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform Inspection: Involves inspecting materials, parts, and products throughout the manufacturing process.
*Read Technical Documents: Use drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify requirements.
*Use Measuring Tools: Measure parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
*Handle Quality Issues: Identify defects, document problems, and create non-conformance or rejection reports when needed.
*Maintain Records: Keep accurate inspection, compliance, and repair records.
*Some lifting may be required, generally between 10 and 15 lbs. with minimal repetition.
Job Requirements
*Experience: More than 2 years of quality control inspection experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
*Certifications: Knowledge of Transport Canada or AS9100 standards is an asset.
*Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and agile.
Qualifications
High school diploma and technical training in aviation or a related field.
