Job description
Job Title: Residential CleanerPrimary Location: Kelowna, BCJob Status: Full-Time, PermanentCompany Overview:Pacific Cove Properties is a BC-owned and operated property management and development company providing rental accommodation to almost 3000 families and individuals in communities throughout British Columbia, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.Job Overview:This position is based at Midtown, a modern, pet-friendly rental community in central Kelowna featuring thoughtfully designed homes and a range of shared resident amenities. Learn more at: Residential Building Cleaner plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for Midtown residents. This hands-on position maintains the cleanliness and presentation of the property's common areas and shared spaces, supports suite turnovers as assigned, monitors cleaning supplies, and promptly reports maintenance or safety concerns. Success in this role means delivering consistently high standards, demonstrating strong attention to detail, and interacting respectfully with residents, guests, and colleagues.Key Responsibilities:Building Cleanliness and PresentationMaintain cleanliness across all common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, amenity spaces, and exterior entry pointsEnsure the property remains consistently clean, safe, and presentable throughout the dayComplete scheduled cleaning routines and proactively address areas requiring attentionResident Interaction and ServiceRespond to resident cleaning-related concerns in a timely and professional mannerMaintain a friendly, respectful presence within the building and contribute to a positive resident experienceTurnover and Maintenance SupportPerform detailed cleaning for move-ins and move-outs to ensure suites are ready for occupancyAssist with cleaning requirements following maintenance or repair work as neededSeasonal and Exterior UpkeepSupport seasonal duties, including light landscaping, leaf clearing, and maintaining exterior cleanlinessAssist with snow removal, including shovelling and salting, to ensure safe access to the propertyGeneral Support and EmergenciesRespond to urgent cleaning needs or building-related issues, including after-hours situations when requiredAdhere to all company standards, policies, and safety protocols in day-to-day workRequired SkillsetsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks independentlyClear and professional communication with residents and team membersDetail-oriented with a high standard for cleanliness and presentationProactive mindset with the ability to identify and address issues before they escalateReliable, consistent, and able to follow through on responsibilitiesPositive, team-oriented approach with a strong sense of accountability
