Job description
Securiguard Services is accepting resumes for the position of Security Dispatcher for a high-profile job site in London, Ontario.Pay Rate: $22.13/hourJob Description: As a Part-Time Security Dispatcher, you will be responsible for monitoring access control systems, fire protection systems, CCTV, elevators and the overall safety of the building. You will be logging information, dispatching the security and building operations teams accordingly, conducting various audits and ensuring that security patrol duties are completed. You will work closely with the security team to ensure all issues and emergency situations are addressed promptly and with care. These shifts are on a fixed rotation of two weeks days and two weeks of nights, between 10 to 30 hours each week.Experience and Qualifications:Minimum of six (6) months experience as a control room operator/security dispatcher.Education in Emergency Telecommunications is considered an assetMust be knowledgeable in various systems including but not limited to fire and life safety systems, CCTV, Access control systems, Intercom systemsAbility to communicate well and be understoodAbility to handle stressful situations and high volumes of callsApproaches situations with a listening mindsetMust be reliable, of sound character and a team-playerMust be proficient with Microsoft office and excelMust be able to MULTITASK in a FAST-PACED environmentEmployee Perks We Offer:Award winning corporate culture - Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture 2021!Frequent opportunities for advancement and professional developmentExtended Health and Dental benefits for eligible employees.
