Job Description
Urgent Hiring Landscape Construction Foreman!
You've been the guy the crew already asks when something goes sideways. This is the role where that's your actual job — your site, your crew, your standard.
Retaining walls, paving stone driveways, decks, fences, turf, excavation. We're one of the fastest-growing companies on the North Shore, and we're hiring foremen who want to grow with us.
What you'll own
- Run job sites start to finish — layout, sequencing, quality, cleanup
- Lead a crew of 2–5 — direct the work, set the pace, hold the standard
- Be the customer's point of contact on site — answer questions, flag changes
- Keep jobs on schedule and on budget — materials, hours, waste
- Train the next generation — bring apprentices up to your level
- Own site safety — daily checks, hazard calls, everyone home safe
What you bring
Must-haves
- 4+ years landscape construction experience
- Proven crew leadership — you've run sites, not just worked on them
- Valid BC driver's licence + confident towing 10–14 ft trailers
- Strong across multiple trades: hardscape, concrete, carpentry, masonry, planting
- Can read plans and translate them into a day's work for your crew
- Reliable, organized, and calm when the day changes on you
Nice-to-haves
- Small equipment tickets (skid steer, excavator)
- First Aid certification
- Red Seal or trade certification
- Experience with site scheduling or crew apps
What we offer
- Company truck for foremen
- Year-round, full-time work — not seasonal
- Real work-life balance — rarely weekends, evenings or holidays
- Health benefits for eligible staff
- 4% vacation pay
- Performance-based raises
- Clear path to Zone Manager / Production for foremen who want it
- Paid training, tickets and education opportunities
- Flexible hours and time off
What it's actually like here
- Thursday team BBQs — food and drinks on us
- Camping, bowling, golf, paintball, go-karting
- Foremen here have real autonomy — we hire you to make calls, not wait for them
- People come here and stay. That's not an accident — we built it that way
We work hard and we play hard, in that order. We treat our people like the business depends on it — because we really be-leaf it does.
Hit apply and send your resume plus a few lines about the biggest job you've run — size, crew, scope. That's what we read first. Applications without a note usually don't get a reply.
Stop beating around the bush. Let's grow something.
