We are on the hunt for people who love taking care of others become a part of our service team. With many different key responsibilities a front of house team member may have, this role is crucial in creating an outstanding experience for each and every guest that ensures they leave happier than when they came in, while helping to instill and uphold a strong sense of teamwork amongst co-workers.

Our menu, continuously developed by our Executive Chef, features globally-inspired flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients. Both our culinary and front of house staff members are made of people who love to make exceptional experiences for our guests, from handcrafted dishes to flawless table service, focused on excellence in every detail.

Our downtown location serves the downtown community and visitors alike, from business lunches, pre-theatre dinners, celebrations, and pre-game hangouts. We have a vibrant, street-facing patio, and a bar-centric lounge space with lots of seats to watch the biggest game of the week. Our extensive Happy Hour menu runs daily from 2 to 5 and 9 to close, featuring some of our best offers for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Train in Moxies-style service, creating memorable experiences and finding ways to do a little extra for every guest, accommodating and anticipating needs for every table
• Exhibit serving essentials such as helping to create guests orders, answering questions about our dishes and cooking processes, delivering plates to guests, and supporting the team around you to make it all look effortless
• Graciously handle guest concerns with the support of the management team, ensuring that every guest ultimately leaves happy
• Helping to maintain a clean section and restaurant with daily side duties and other assigned cleaning tasks
• Showcase professionalism and hospitality at every opportunity

Key Requirements

• Hosts: no experience required, though experience in the same or similar role is an asset
• Servers: experience in a serving role at a full-service restaurant required
• Supervisors: experience in a serving role at a full-service restaurant required, leadership experience an asset; Supervisors are promoted from within from a service and/or bartending role
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Comfortable talking to people and building rapport and connection
• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• High level knowledge of food & beverage an asset, including competencies in making recommended pairings, and suggestive selling
• Team oriented- teamwork is key to our success during busy shifts
• Energetic and helpful
