Senior Business Systems Analysts

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking 2 Senior Business Systems Analysts for 6 month contract roles with a client of ours located in Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements discovery, stakeholder engagement, validation, and documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process reviews to identify business challenges, opportunities, and technology-enabled solutions.
• Develop and manage key analysis deliverables, including business requirements, user stories, process models, workflows, business cases, and feasibility assessments.
• Partner with project managers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to support the successful delivery of technology and business solutions.
• Ensure requirements traceability and support project planning, prioritization, estimation, risk management, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Lead change impact assessments, implementation readiness, and activities supporting successful solution adoption and release delivery.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships, facilitate alignment and consensus, and present findings, recommendations, and solution options to leadership and project teams.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Business Analysts, promote best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, tools, and organizational capability.

Requirements:

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technology initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience with process analysis, workflow modelling, business case development, and solution evaluation.
• Strong understanding of software development and project delivery lifecycles.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• SAFe Agile experience.
• Agile Scrum Master certification.
• BABOK certification or formal Business Analysis training.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or major initiatives.
• Experience within large enterprise or regulated environments.
