Prince George Native Friendship Centre "We are a dynamic and compassionate team facilitating individual, family, and community growth, well-being, and mutual understanding through the Power of Friendship."Come join our dynamic team as a:Youth Outreach WorkerReconnect Youth Outreach (Full-time, $30.39-$34.39 per hour)Scope of PositionReporting to the Program Coordinator, the Youth Outreach Worker provides client-centered, trauma-informed support to youth aged 13-18, helping them navigate social, emotional, and recreational opportunities. This role reflects PGNFC's Youth departments commitment to Respect, Belonging, and Reciprocity, creating opportunities for youth to engage with community, culture, and holistic well-being.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the health and social determinants impacting vulnerable youth, particularly Indigenous youth, and will be skilled in meeting youth where they are, providing non-judgmental support, and fostering trust. Outreach services will be delivered at times and locations most accessible to youth, including evenings and weekends.Qualifications:PGNFC recognizes lived experience as an asset in supporting youth.
