Our LETHBRIDGE LOCATION has an exciting opportunity for a TRAILER SALES COORDINATOR to join our team!
What You Will Do:
The Trailer Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting senior trailer sales representatives by selling trailers and equipment within their defined territories, including making direct customer calls to build relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide support for the Senior Trailer Sales Representative for all functions related to the sales process, operation of the Trailer sales location, and assistance with related duties as required
Promote and sell trailers and equipment within your defined territory, including direct customer calls to develop relationships with new and existing customers
Solicit new trailer orders from existing customers and prospect new sales opportunities within your territory. Identify areas of growth to achieve monthly and annual targets
Develop a territory sales plan utilizing a CRM to record and track leads, manage sales activity, and maintain an up-to-date customer contact database
Advertise and market the branch trailer inventory utilizing the approved marketing tools and adhering to FGI guidelines.
Coordinate with customers and suppliers to resolve any issues, warranties, or other concerns.
Provide after-sales support and follow-up on products, operational training, and customer demonstrations of trailer features
Coordinate trailer specifications (where possible) to increase product capacity at the factory and reduce inventory required internally
Coordinate shared inventory with other branches
Coordinate with the management group to maintain trailer inventory based on the current sales model.
Arrange shipping and delivery of customer orders and stock inventory
Report on weekly sales activity, including relevant competitor information and current market conditions, to your supervisor
Manage expenses as per FGI policies
Report all vehicle damage defects, accidents, traffic violations, or changes in the driver's abstract to management
Perform occasional work-related errands, such as delivering documents, picking up supplies, or coordinating small in-person tasks
Support annual inventory count processes
Other duties as assigned
What We Require:
Two to three (2-3) years of trailer sales or account coordination is preferred
High school diploma or other high school equivalency certificate or Diploma
A valid driver’s license and a recent driver’s abstract are required at hire, demonstrating no major infractions and minimal minor infractions, as defined by Company standards
Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems and standard office software
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred
Experience in driving a forklift is preferred
Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
