Job descriptionHi there, we are looking to hire house managers for Your Village Co. At Your Village, we help busy families reclaim time, reduce stress, and come home to calm. We provide weekly in-home support that keeps households running smoothly—from laundry and organization to meal prep and household resets. There is no childcare involved, however you will be in a home with children. We are looking for someone who already enjoys caring for homes—someone who finds satisfaction in creating order, warmth, and ease in a family’s space. Someone who understands that a well-run home is what allows families to feel calm. If you’ve ever worked in cleaning, housekeeping, as a doula, nanny or home support and thought, “I wish this felt more meaningful”—this may be exactly what you’ve been looking for. What you’ll do Every home is different, but your support may include: * Laundry (washing, folding, putting away) * Kitchen resets and light tidying * Light meal preparation * Snack and lunch prep * Toy and playroom organization * Pantry and fridge organization * Bathroom touch-ups (cleaning counters and sinks, changing garbage) * Bed making and general household resets * Seasonal organizing projects * General organizing We are there to support the home—not provide deep cleaning or childcare. Nice to have * Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain it) What we’re looking for * Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, nannying, home management, or customer service is an asset. * A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement included). * Ability to lift laundry baskets and perform light physical work. * Excellent communication skills. * Comfortable working independently inside clients’ homes. * Criminal record check & Vulnerable Sector Check (required before employment). Hours * Contract position between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm. * Weekday daytime shifts. * Flexible part-time scheduling. * Opportunities to grow as the company expands.
