Production Supply & Logistics Analyst, on behalf of our client,
a leading energy company, to join our client Customer Service Production Supply and Logistics team in Calgary, AB. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and customer-focused professional with experience in crude oil logistics, forecasting, supply chain operations, or related oil and gas environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and reporting crude oil and diluent movements across pipeline systems while ensuring customer commitments, contractual obligations, and operational requirements are met. You will serve as a key liaison between shippers, facility operators, field operations personnel, and internal stakeholders.

- Shift: Bi-weekly schedule
- Week One: Thursday & Friday - 8 hours a day (16 hours a week)
- Week Two: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 8 hours a day (24 hours a week)

Responsibilities: Logistics, Supply & Forecasting - Model and track physical fluid movements throughout gathering systems and terminal operations.
- Manage contractual transactions to ensure supply availability and customer requirements are met.
- Monitor and report Midstream pipeline and terminal shipper positions.
- Forecast, reconcile, and balance system volumes.
- Coordinate throughput requirements and nominations with shippers and facility operators.
- Support budget planning, quarterly forecasts, and long-range volumetric planning activities.
- Investigate and resolve nomination discrepancies and volume-related issues.
Customer & Stakeholder Management - Act as a primary point of contact for shippers, connected facility operators, field operations teams, and internal business stakeholders.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Collaborate across departments to address operational challenges and ensure service excellence.
- Respond effectively to customer inquiries and changing operational requirements .
Reporting & Analytics - Generate month-end volumetric accounting reports for shippers and products.
- Prepare regulatory and industry reporting for Petroleum Registry, Internal Controls, and EPAP compliance.
- Develop analytics and identify trends to support operational decision-making.
- Build and maintain reports, workbooks, and business applications.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews.
Systems & Process Management - Become a subject matter expert and administrator for Integrated Pipeline System (IPS).
- Support testing, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage system capacity and support restriction, curtailment, and apportionment activities.
- Participate in special projects and process enhancement initiatives.
Operational Support - Develop contingency plans and operational strategies.
- Support rapid response efforts during operational disruptions.
- Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend support when required for critical business needs.
Qualifications and Skills: - Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; or
- Minimum 2 years of directly related industry experience.
- 2 to 4 years of crude oil, logistics, pipeline operations, supply chain, or related oil and gas experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Crude oil logistics and forecasting experience.
- Oil blending experience.
- Knowledge of pipeline operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with Petroleum Registry, Petrinex, COLC, and related industry reporting processes.
- Experience working with transportation, scheduling, or logistics systems.
- Previous experience with Integrated Pipeline Systems (IPS).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
