Job description
Workday HCM Integration Developer Location: Remote Canada Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM concepts, architecture, and functionality.
  • Experience with at least one end-to-end Workday HCM implementation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Integrations, EIB, Calc Fields, Security, and Data Migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of EIB (Inbound & Outbound), Core Connector Worker, Core Connector Benefits, Workday Studio, Reports, Navigation, Search, and Security.
  • Hands-on experience with XSLT, including development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of ISU, ISSG, Integration Scheduling, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of PBO, RBO, Workday Objects, and their relationships, including effective use of Calc Fields.
  • Strong skills in coding, testing, implementation, debugging, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to understand AS-IS and TO-BE processes, analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multinational, and multi-vendor environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support Workday HCM integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors (Worker & Benefits), and XSLT.
  • Work with Organizations, Navigation, Security, Custom Reports, Business Processes, and Workday Objects.
  • Analyze requirements and identify relationships between PBO/RBO and other Workday objects, leveraging Calc Fields where required.
  • Understand and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes based on business requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and implementation/support documentation.
  • Support integration migration activities across environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, including scheduling and production support.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional application teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Assist the Team Lead / Project Manager by gathering information from existing systems, analyzing program requirements, and ensuring deliverables meet defined timelines.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-production support activities.
